The location was great! Right in front of the beach, and close to the shops and restaurants. The staff were extra friendly, very welcoming, and all willing to help. During our vacation, we lost an Apple Watch at one of the tourist beaches (not at the hotel). We located the watch, but as tourists, decided to ask the hotel staff for opinions and help. The staff were all very helpful, calling the police and helping us get the help we required. In the end, we were able to find and retrieve the watch, all with the help of the hotel staff and police assistance!

Posada Amaripucci is set in San Andrés, 200 metres from Spratt Bight beaches and the commercial area. Every room at this inn is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV.

Even though we arrived late and were just passing through, we were warmly welcomed. The collector and inventor has put many things together to create a really interesting place to sleep. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to discover all the treasures and animals. There is also warm water, soft towels and a comfortable bed within walking distance of the airport.

    I liked the coziness and family feel of the island. It was accessible and we felt safe. We were able to rent a 4-wheeler to drive around the whole island and the sights were beautiful. I must say I haven't seen so many motobikes in one place in all my life, but they knew what they were doing and it seem to ease the traffic. Beautiful and clean beaches were spectacular.

    Tiny island purely for the benefit of tourism. Large modern shopping area in the centre of town which, for some reason, sells mainly perfumery and make up. A variety of shops would be better all round. Several restaurants which sell mainly fish dishes. You don't have to travel far to witness the poverty in stark contrast to the tourist centre. Having said that, there are some beautiful beaches and the locals are generally friendly and helpful.

    If you're looking for crystal-clear water, stunning nature, and vibrant sea life, you'll love this place! However, the urban area is disappointing and poorly maintained. The streets and sidewalks have many potholes, some of which can be dangerous. If you're looking for tourist attractions or activities beyond the beach, options are limited. That being said, a motorbike tour around the island is highly recommended—the landscapes are gorgeous! There are also excellent restaurants (some quite pricey) and good bars to enjoy.

    Amazing water and beaches.

    Amazing water and beaches. Underwhelming food (almost all seafood was tilapia / salmon / shrimp from Vietnam or Ecuador) and fried. Great party island, not so much a relaxing place. All that said, the botanical gardens are superb!

    Too expensive.

    Too expensive. 45 USD permit per person just to set foot on the island is steep. 10% room tax is also added on to all hotel rooms. Outside of the north east, it's very remote and very few shops. In bad weather, there's basically nothing to do but sit in your room and watch TV/browse.

    Beautiful beaches, islands and see water.

    Beautiful beaches, islands and see water. A place full of interesting activities ranging from tranquility to full thrilling adventures. We only stayed for 3 days, regrettably. I would recommend 7 days to explore what it has to offer. Hiring a Mule and spending one day exploring the island is a must. It was our best day!

    The location is fantastic: this hotel is directly at the beach and it has nice beaches. With some trees and palm trees for those who want shade, or very nice areas for people who want to enjoy the sun. The food is wonderful: the best food I tried during my time in San Andrés and Providencia. The coconut rice... ache, I still dream of it. Cocktails were nice. Beds were really comfortable. It was clean. The personnel was very kind. If I go to San Andrés again, I will stay in Hotel Cocoplum Beach.

    Centrally located, only a few steps away from the beach. The room was sufficiently large and clean and although basic, it was equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a safety deposit box, a wardrobe, a tv and air conditioning. Above all, the receptionist and the cleaning lady were very gracious and promptly attended to all our needs. Perfect stay for a few days on San Andres island.
