Great Location, great service and comfortable accommodations! If you’re unfamiliar with traveling here, keep the following in mind: 1. it is cash pay when you arrive, your payment on Booking isn’t paying the hotel just reserving it, so you will need the full amount in Colombian Pesos (no cards accepted) 2. if you’re a foreigner, they will need a copy of your passport and entry stamp into the country. We were unaware of these things and they provided a mild inconvenience when checking in, however, the owner went above and beyond the help find a solution for both these things. The service we received was truly extraordinary! The town is a local treasure and should absolutely be on everyone’s bucket list!

I was super happy with every aspect of my stay at Casa Bethlen. It's located just over a block from la plaza principal and shops. it has a full kitchen that I was able to use and it was nice and quiet at night. The host was very helpful with answering my questions about places to go and things to do and the value paid for the room was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
