Tranquility. We stayed in the main lodge half board. Lovely food. Wrong time of the year for parakeets and no monkeys in the area but lovely birds, basiliks and frogs. Great quiet trails to be on your own.

The location is great if you want to visit Carara National Park. The food is fabulous, especially the wood fired pizza. The room was also very spacious, clean and the bathroom is outside which makes the whole experience very wild. You can be sure that you will see scarlet macaws there, flying around and coming to feed near the restaurant (usually between 4-5 pm). It’s a bird paradise. The pool was also great, clean and you can see the sunset while soaking in the water.

We stayed here for our last night in Costa Rica and it was the perfect ending to our trip. The house is very peacefully located in nature, and we felt incredibly lucky to spot so many macaw birds. The host is very attentive, the rooms super clean, and breakfast was such a treat! Everything was homemade, really delicious. We could see a lot of care and attention has been put in this place.

lovely place. a tribe of capuchin monkeys come for a banana meal outside the kitchen at lunchtimes and dinner!!! great views from a lookout point over the value. rooms are grand and spacious with lovely detailing. they serve meals or a quick ride to the main highway with a lot of choice
