A stunning and amazingly beautiful hotel, the service here and the staff are so amazing and kind, very nice, one of the best I've been to, and I travel a lot around the world, Michael was our waiter and the receptionist and he was so kind and nice, helped us with everything we needed, and brought us the best service, the hotel has a spectacular view and beautiful waterfalls, there is peace and tranquility here, I highly recommend coming here, you won't regret it for a moment

Cerro Lodge is a birder's paradise! We saw multiple scarlet macaws and dozens of other bird species. A troupe of white-faced monkeys and howler monkeys frequented the property. Views from the dining area were stunning. The front desk staff and servers were both friendly and helpful. Dinner was decently priced and tastey.

The condo looks just like the photos. Very spacious with fantastic views. The grounds are well kept and there is a security guard roaming around at night. Very safe. The pool was great and you can watch the sunset while swimming. We saw 2 macaws in the surrounding trees; the best sightings we saw all week as we traveled around CR. We didn't see any in Carara, so skip Carara and stay here. Georges was a very good host and welcomed us at the condo. We should have stayed here longer as it was our favorite place.

Breakfast was phenomenal with home made breads, fruits, eggs, and way more than we could eat. Everything was exactly as we were hoping for and more. The school road "Escuela" is perfect for finding many local native bird species. We heard owls, forest falcons, distant howler monkeys, and macaws from the property. Nice to take a cool dip in the pool also.
