The location is quiet - a great place to relax. Already before I arrived I felt so welcome with the easy communication. The location is perfect- only a short walk to the beach.

Exceptional staff that pays attention to detail. I stayed for 6 nights as a single traveller wanting to be close to town and the lush jungle, and secluded enough from town for some R&R. Terrazas del Caribe was perfect.
A 600m walk down a gravel road gets you to Cochles beach and to nearby food. However, I purchased the all-inclusive, which included my meals and drinks. Every meal, from a buffet breakfast spread to appetizers, and mouth-watering dinner and desserts, were phenomenal. Compliments to Kimberley and George. And, oh that amazing Costa Rican coffee. It was well worth it. For the bar, more juice and less ice in drinks would be icing on the cake.Try the sangria!
The jungle surrounds the complex, and howler monkeys can be heard nearby. Rooms are exceptionally clean and have all you need. The grounds are well-manicured and lush.

We stayed in 2 different rooms at this hotel because we liked it so much we extended our stay. Both rooms were amazing, very clean, very comfortable, large, with great bathrooms. One room opened up onto the seafront with its own hammock outside the door, the other opened out to a covered area with small kitchen and tables. Both rooms were quiet and peaceful with beds with good mattresses. The staff were kind and helpful. Opposite the hotel was the best cafe/bistro in the town where we enjoyed brilliant breakfasts. The location was perfect.

I arrived early to a very friendly welcome from Alana, nothing ever seemed to phase her, she always had a smile and was patient with me, as I didn't get the knack of locking the door.
The room was spacious with everything you could need and it felt safe.
You could hear the waves crashing, geckos calling and I saw both racoons and an agouti along with many colourful birds in the car park
The hotel is on a little side street away from the action so it's quiet and I actually felt safer walking down that road to the hotel than on the main road in the dark, when it, rained as it seemed to have better lighting.
It was only a short walk to the centre no more than a 10 minute walk along the road or even a dawdle on beach during the day
I'd definitely stay again, a big thanks to Alana and her Tio, who also made me feel at home
