Located in Dominical, 37 km from Manuel Antonio, Hotel Tropical Sands Dominical features air-conditioned rooms, fan cabins and free private parking. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property.

The best thing about the accommodation is that is walking distance from the beach. The rooms were basic but covered what we needed and the garden area offers a tranquil space to relax. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating over both of our stays.

Situated in Dominical, 400 metres from Dominical Beach, Tribe Boutique Hotel - Adults Only features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

We really really liked the vibes in this hotel. We are not yogis, but everyone - staff and hotel guests - were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel doesn't have many rooms and the hotel grounds are so beautifully appointed and decorated. There are also enough lounging options by the pool (day beds, lounge chairs, hanging chairs, hammocks and sun loungers) for ALL guests at the hotel, which I want to give major credit, because most other hotels barely have enough to accommodate half of their guests. There is also nice background music and we loved the use of essential oil diffusers in the room and the fire bowl at night by the pool. We felt at peace and loved spending time on the property. It is so perfectly located in the middle of the little town that is Dominical as well and everything is so easily reached with a short walk.

The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, the staff are lovely and the location is perfect. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock outside the dorm room and kitchen is really nice. When I come back to Dominical, I'll be staying here again.

Perfect for young backpackers and hippie dippy types. Definitely has a Zen vibe with lots of young people about, but good for we 60+'s too. Very reasonable and convenient area to commute to many local/natural attractions.

Dominical is a lovely part of the Pacific coast.

Dominical is a lovely part of the Pacific coast. Once you get away from the main coastal road you discover wonderful scenery and wildlife. The waterfalls, reptile rescue centre, boat trips and many many outdoor activities can keep you busy for a month . From yoga to surfing you set the pace, Dominical will wrap you in nature and beauty scenery. We travelled as a couple but this area is great fro. families and groups of friends. I would recommend staying for 10 days. Pura Vida

Although I loved Pacific Edge Eco Lodge and would definitely return, I found the little town of Dominical a bit off-putting. Seemed to be filled with aging gringos with no particular layout or planning. The beach was gorgeous though. Also, we visited Naucaya Waterfall, several miles from Dominical which was fabulous.

Small place, very quite and relaxing. Nice beach in walking distance from any point of the town. Only few restaurants and one supermarket. If you look for more entertaiment, Uvita would probabaly satisfy you much more..

Beautiful laid-back area with lots of things to do within an easy drive. Great beach area and a charming little town with lots of great places to shop and dine. We especially loved waffle fries at Fuego Brewing Company (and the cute treetop vibe), tacos at Hotel Rio Del Lindo, and homemade empanadas at Mama Toucans Natural Foods Store.

Dominical is like Ubud or Goa in the 90s- a chilled yoga/surf town. Hippie yoga pants and hammocks are on sale in the shops; Mama toucans sells pretty much everything from vegan food, chocolate and cosmetics. The food here is phenomenal: Phat noodle is excellent, Fuego brews its own beer from passion fruit to a blonde lager and has an excellent menu, the Pescado loco is a small menu but omg the fish taco was sublime. The restaurants are laid back but are really world class food stops. Very close to nauyaca waterfall, the reptile Centre, Alturas and Uvita & whale tail. But the best part is the excellent yoga on offer at Danyasa, which has the most beautiful yoga shala I have ever been in. Rockstar yoga is also great- fab teachers & a lovely space. I loved this place. Super friendly - feels v safe for a female traveler. Quite a few long term residents & off-griders here

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, family-run hotel. The staff are welcoming and the facilities are great. Location is great for heading into Dominical, where there are restaurants and the main beach. The river runs next to the hotel and is good for a refreshing dip. Great stay overall.

Round the corner from the beach and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Super cosy and relaxing. Was great to have the kitchen and fridge available. You get all the info you might need when you check in, plus you can find out more from the folder at reception.
