The room (studio) is well-equipped. Nice kitchen, great shower, a-ma-zing bed. Private terrace with insane view over the jungle. The hosts Jo & Joanne are very kind, made generous breakfasts and a sunset dinner. Jo took us to the rivier on the land, where we swam. At night we gazed at the Milky Way. It doesn't compare to anything!

Great people, spacious rooms, great location, great value.

Nice hotel with a lovely garden and pool. The room was spacious and clean but our view was not one for in the books. We looked out over outbuildings and a sort of construction site. Good breakfast and diner but the staff was very focused on the French guests, which made us feel unseen at times.

Our stay was an exceptional experience. Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!

The room and the kitchen facilities were very good. The only thing missing was extra places to hang a hammock. Some of the rooms had hammocks and hooks but ours didn't.
