The views are simply breathtaking, perched high in the jungle with the ocean in the distance, and the chance to spot local wildlife adds to the magic. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and have everything you need to truly relax.
But what really sets Lapazul apart is the top-notch hospitality. The warmth and attention to detail from the staff is among the best I’ve ever experienced—genuine, personal, and truly caring. Special mention to Mr. Jorge, whose first-class service and warm presence made us feel incredibly welcome. He is, without a doubt, one of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered at any hotel in the world.
And the food? Outstanding. Every dish is full of flavor and heart, far surpassing the local restaurants in town. The menu is focused and perfectly executed, with ingredients that shine. You can taste the passion in every bite.
If you’re looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and comfort, this is the place. Plus, it’s just a short drive down to the beach at Dominical. I can’t recommend it enough.

Everything was amazing ! :) thanks for your hospitality, we felt like family. The white water rafting was really fun and safe. The night walk was stunning with a great guide. The activites are relatively cheap and great. We highly recommend the lodge. We also saw a caoti and tucans at the lodge!

Loved everything. Great location. Super comfortable cabina with great views and an excellent kitchen with great attention to detail. Awesome and very clean. Hosts were wonderful and accommodating. The river was indeed nearby and beauty all around.

Wonderful little gem in the forest. We stayed here to avoid the crowds and were blown away. Small villas separated by a beautiful garden/forest. We received an upgrade and on the beginning were the only guests there. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to everyone.
The villa itself was very cozy, had a bathroom and a kitchen. Bed was comfortable, villa was overall very clean.
You can walk on the property (lots of different plants, some animals such as birds, even sheep), or walk 15 minutes to the waterfall. Breakfast was also very good and the pool refreshing.
Located a 15 minute drive from Dominical, 25 minutes to Quepos and 40 minutes to Manuel Antonio. But the local beach at Matapalo is highly recommended. And listen to AJ's restaurant recommendations, the Langosta Feliz was amazing.
We ended up extending our stay and loved every minute of it.

The tent was large and comfortable. The setting was splendid. Beautiful landscaping. We got a visit from a troop of monkeys. That was exciting and fun. Highly recommend Rafiki Beach Camp.
