BEAUTIFUL home, amazing design of the house. Super friendly host that organized a taxi for us and was very accommodating. Great breakfast (and a lot of food!). Macaws in the backyard.

I had a great stay at Margarita Sierpe. The room was beautiful and cozy, with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the location was peaceful and close to the river – perfect for relaxing. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is along the small river, about 800 m from the village of Siepre. Fabulous location, beautiful grounds and the food was excellent. The mangroves tour with Melvin was superb. We saw 3 types of monkey, crocodiles, turtles, a colony of bats, a boa and loads of birds, most of which we would have missed without Melvin's sharp eyes and great information. We also spent a lovely morning kayaking on our own along the smaller waterways. Macaws, aracari, woodpeckers, tanagers, herons, parrots and lots more right on your doorstep. We loved the swimming hole which we shared with basilisk lizards and the odd heron and ibis! The fan in the room really helped to cool us down at night.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. Ideally situated in Sierpe before taking the boat to Drake or Corcovado. Mario (the owner) was extremely helpful during our stay. We were also able to leave our rental car in his property for a very small fee while we went to Corcovado for a few days. Mario also kept one of our luggage while we were away. Thank you Mario!
