The house has character and location on the river is gorgeous. The owners are very kind and the food was wonderful. Great wildlife in the yard. I felt like we were going back in time!

We were given a choice of two rooms and I chose #1 due to proximity to the kitchen. Furnishings are older but functional. Nice to have a full stove for cooking. Bed was several stacked mattresses: comfortable, but it would shake if one person moved around. Room had an overhead fan but no cross ventilation unless you left the door open so it did get a bit warm. Excellent Wi-Fi. Private parking in the yard. Not many options in Sierpe and this worked for a night. Easy walk into the town or to the river edge.

small bungalow in the jungle, super quiet and relaxing. Wade is extremely helpful and well attending. i loved my two nights here, listening to the frogs at night and relaxing in the hammock at the dock. having Marly (i think is her name?) coming late in the evening to spend the night on my doormat and leaving early morning felt like extra protection from the wild jungle life 😊 great to have a short break in your trip.

We LOVED this property and highly recommend it for any birders. There’s a tree line around the property where several species of birds were spotted by our son - most were lifers for him. The room was comfortable with AC and clean / comfy beds and bathrooms. The breakfast included a lesson in local fruits grown on the property and the chance to taste new ones - like Guapa. We were headed to an overnight tour at Corcovado National Park and this was a perfect place to stay for us.

Very nice place in the wilderness where you can spot many animals. The mangrove tour is a must, we saw all types of monkeys and many crocodiles, our kids were amazed. Angelica is a very nice person and we felt at home.
