Everything about the hotel is perfect. The location is amazing with beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms are clean and spacious, the food was excellent.

A little outside of Assomada city center (but an easy enough straightforward walk), Casa Toota offers a nice room with a good (hard) bed, little balcony and cosy common spaces. Along the main road going into Assomada but it's quiet enough at night. Toota herself was ever so kind, accommodating, caring. Can only recommend.

Very big, quite well maintained, clean. Fresh towel, clean and comfortable bed, big kitchen and fridge with freezer. Since Assomada is small you can reach everything by foot.

It is obvious that this is a new hotel or a new room. The elevator was not working when we arrived. It was difficult to get through to the staff at night, but then they opened the gate for us. The breakfast is great! especially the coffee and local dishes. But the room needs more equipment: a bedside table only on one side of the bed. Hot drinks are important in the mountains, but there is no kettle. The lighting is very cold. There is a refrigerator, but it is very noisy. The Internet does not work well in the room, although the router is nearby. Nowhere is it written what time breakfast is and what is the password for Wi-Fi

Absolutely lovely staff members and the best food we had in 2 weeks of travelling in Cape Verde. Do not hesitate to go for the half board option (EUR12.50pp) which they will message you about before you arrive. The views from the terrace are stunning and the location is perfect; we did a fantastic 17km hike loop in the nearby NP, but there are shorter options too.
