Super deluxe apartment which is brand new. Very tastefully decorated. Danny the host is very kind and helpful. The apartment is well located for hiking the paul valley (nicest area of the island) and for discovering the rest of the Island. Enough small restaurants and supermarkets is the area.

Right on the ocean with gorgeous views and a beautiful restaurant/pool area. Great location if you’re hiking in the Paul valley. Also helps to organise a collectivo back to the port if you need it. Staff are also super friendly.

Staff were nice and, though relatively basic, the rooms were large and the bathroom too. No AC but I was happy with the fan. It’s not in Ribeira Grande but a little village called Coculi so a taxi/aluguer is needed to get to the hotel and it’s about a 15/20 minute walk from the main part of Coculi (which is where the aluguer will drop you off but expect a taxi can take you right to the entrance).

The view is amazing and definitely worth experiencing. The staff was also super nice and the restaurant has good food. The access to the hotel is a challenge and definitely need some improvements.

Great quality price ratio. Lovely team and location is gorgeous! Don’t expect a luxury stay but everything is done to make you feel at home and comfortable. Great for hikes in the area and the views are just insane.

Very small village but with lots of charm. Visit the Hotel Tienne del Mar for a dinner or for a drink, there are amazing views. Pombas is also a good place for some great hikes (Cova-Pombas or Pombas-Pico da Cruz-Janela).
