Great location, parking paid front of hotel (but the price is really good), tasty breakfast, large rooms, stylish building, very close to attractions by walking distance. Recommended.

Very disappointing and stressful stay. On the first night, our neighbor’s TV was so loud we couldn’t sleep. Reception was closed, but thankfully Nina and Adam from the restaurant went above and beyond to help us and arranged a room change at midnight.
The next day, despite informing reception, two strangers walked into our new room—completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe and worried for our belongings whenever we were not in the room. As compensation, the hotel gave us two bottles of their cheapest wine.
This elegant hotel is situated in Znojmo's centre, 200 metres from the Train and Bus Station. It houses a restaurant with seasonal dishes and offers wine tasting at the bar.

It is a great old town with plenty of things to see, especially if you are into historical sightseeing and lovely nature/surroundings. Just make sure that you come at the right time. Due to our trip to the Czech Republic in January, we did stop in Znojmo, but were a little bit surprised that most of the sights have April-October opening time.

The town was just the right size for a three day visit.
The town was just the right size for a three day visit. We had our dog with us so no museums or galleries were on our list but we were welcome everywhere else.
We'd highly recommend Víno Kára (only food available are meat and cheese plates) and Winebar Chatka for their wines (but not for food at all).

a nice little Czech town once a very important medieaval urban centre, close to the wine areas on both sides of the Czech/Austrian border, only a little over one hour from Vienna, will have to come back in the summer to see the famous romanesque rotunda

It's a quick jaunt from Vienna, ergo a convenient way to get some Czech culture. My hunch is Telc would be a better trip but it's hard to reach. The town is good for 1-2 nights. We stayed two nights in early spring. The town seemed to be a tad sleepy even though it was Easter week. It made it seem like two nights was pushing it. But the town is pretty and I can see it being very interesting with nicer weather. Brush up on your German as there was not much English spoken.

The apartment's location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. It was my first visit to Znojmo, and I was impressed by the historical charm of the streets. The apartment itself was exactly as shown in the pictures—modern, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. One small suggestion: bring your own slippers or thick socks, as the floors can get a bit cold. The communication with the owner was excellent—quick responses and very friendly interaction.
Excellent service, very welcoming host, cozy environment, good facilities. We did the wine tasting in the host's wine cellar and it was definitely time well spent! Great price-performance ratio. Would recommend this stay to anyone who's visiting Znojmo especially by car.
