Lovely neighborhood, charming apartment. The place had everything we needed for our stay (plus a few amenities that added an extra touch). The short walk to the town center is definitely recommended.

    The Pension Im Malerwinkel is a lovingly kept lodging in a beautiful town. The staff is personable and very professional. Beautiful art by Josef Georg Miller decorates the walls. His art is treasured by the proprietors and linked with Kallmünz’s history. The Pension is quite convenient for bicycle tourists. Lastly, the breakfast, included in the price, is plentiful, fresh and delicious.

    The location was exceptional. Beautiful scenery next to a lovely natural peaceful river. Hotel was easy to find and the reception and breakfast was very good. The hotel belongs in the highest category for quality of workmanship and cleanliness. Beautiful wooden fittings and carvings as well as some very good wall paintings promoting the area.

    Good hotel pension, nice people. We booked the 2 storey maisonette, and bathroom is not on the same level as bedroom. Balcony with a lovely view. Superb location. Comfortable bed, had a good night rest, very secluded quiet location. Will book again but will ask for an en-suite room.

    A perfect location for a visit to Kallmunz. It was our second visit to Pension Im Malerwinkel and too short a visit but it was just as special as the first visit and we will come again.
