The reception was always very attentive and professional accommodating all our requests, and the beds were very comfortable.
The room was a bit warm as the sun was hitting it during the day and because there was no AC available. But not an issue at this time of the year. Will definitely recommend.

While I was driving my wife checked this hotel from web page of booking.com and we liked it. wanted to book it with breakfast, due to personal questions I asked her use my mobile where I have the booking.com app with genius level 2. she made the booking from the app with a little bit higher price but we didn't care. When we reached to hotel noticed that the although a higher price breakfast was not included. Reception offered a better price with breakfast but because it was last moment booking we did not have cancellation option with refund. I will not use app anymore, anonymous web page usage is cheaper.

Our trip was very short and it was really just to visit the art gallery with so many wonderful pieces of work on display for the first time! However, we also managed to visit the Palace (highly recommended!) and some magnificent buildings that interested us, including the Church. The Information place is very useful and provided us with a good map of the area. We are planning to return to Mannheim in the near future as we enjoyed what we experienced before we had to leave.

I have traveled to more than 20 countries and over 150 cities in Europe so far. During these travels, I mostly stayed in hostels, but this is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. I congratulate the management for the value they place on people.

I've spent quite a lot of time in Mannheim as I come there for work for a couple of weeks at a time.
As a destination, I wouldn't recommend it - nothing special.
There are some nice things to see and do, but I wouldn't plan a trip to Mannheim just for Mannheim.
The best part about Mannheim is that you can go pretty much anywhere from there via train.
Even Paris is only a 3 hour ride away.
So, I would recommend staying in Mannheim if you make plans to see other places around.
A day or to for Mannheim itself will be enough.

The city doesnt look like other German cities.
The city doesnt look like other German cities. Centre of Mannheim is entirely different experience it looks like an American city with its square street patterns. The public transport is working ok, you can get, where you need to be.

Everything you need for a hotel stay : clean room, comfortable bed, AC, water heater, black curtain, quiet room (it’s near train station and a main road, but couldn’t hear anything when the window was closed). Recommend to someone who wants to stay in Mannheim.
Great value for money, spacious room, comfortable bathroom. Perfect location for passing by Mannheim. Cheap supermarket just in front of the hotel. Free coffee available. A special note for the super kind manager who was very welcoming :)
