The reception staff were very friendly. The hotel is very neat and clean. We had to request extra pillows as the ones in the room were very soft but the staff had no problem in helping us with our requests. We will stay there again

Set within a listed, 15th-century building, this 4-star hotel offers award-winning accommodation and cuisine in the heart of Memmingen's old town. Memmingen Train Station is a 2-minute walk away.

Location was good for the wedding in the middle of town. Monday morning I came down at 8:30 for breakfast and there was no bread. The dining room manager simply said we are out, there was a tour. So there was a limited option for breakfast even though I paid extra. Otherwise the staff were friendly.

    What I liked most about Memmingen was the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The town's relatively quiet atmosphere provided a serene escape, while still being close to Memmingen Airport and the town center. Moreover, Memmingen's location allowed me to easily travel to many major towns in Bavaria, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.

    We stopped here because of the proximity to the airport. The town is lovely, very traditional, clean and plenty of facilities. It's not very big but a couple of days would have been nice to spend here!

    Unfortunately we only had half a Saturday and evening.

    Unfortunately we only had half a Saturday and evening. We would have visited a museum, but there was no time. The walk around the city, the park, the streets was very pleasant - we saw beautiful buildings, tried local cuisine in an old restaurant.

    We used Memmingen as a base for a 4 day family trip.

    We used Memmingen as a base for a 4 day family trip. We traveled from Memmingen to Stuttgart, Munich and Neuschwanstein Castle. The town is very well connected by trains to all of these locations and many more. It is very interesting and beautiful to walk around and offers many shopping opportunities if that interests you. It takes only around 10 minutes to get to the Memmingen Intl Airport. The airport shuttle stops right at the main train station. Overall, a very convenient transit spot for everyone flying in to Memmingen.

    The town is delightful We arrived by train from Munich the hotel was a 5 minute walk.We had a map of the town and wandered around The following day we followed the map on both routes We found a brewery JoeseppsBrauhaus there we had excellent beer and food.We left the following day via the airport if we had more time we would have taken the train to Lake Constance I think Memmingham would be an excellent choice to visit and use the train to visit nearby towns.

    Memmingen is lovely small town.

    Memmingen is lovely small town. If you happen to get there, don't miss the one hour train ride to Lindau am BodenSee, which is by far worth visiting and take one of the boat trips that connect Germany, Austria and Switzerland coastline towns round the lake.

    Lovely big apartment, so well appointed and provisioned with everything you could want and more. wonderful hosts. close to two supermarkets, 15 minutes to station and city. memmingen is fascinating and beautiful, and from the station you can go to Ulm. the alpine villages and the wonders of the Bodensee. the kindness of Mr Roth in collecting me from the station on arrival and then to the airport was so much appreciated.

    Very good experience with this guest house. The communication with the host has been held via Booking message, all the instruction were very accurate and the experience moved smoothly. The position very close to Memmingen Airport and the availabily of car parking slot give a boost.

    Lara’s place is in an ideal location just 10 mins drive from Memmingen airport. It was super spacious, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and host was very responsive. Also easy to find! Definitely recommend this place!
