The design of the hotel is beautiful, with the hotel itself, the rooms, and the common areas all styled with great style and skill. It was a true pleasure to stay in such a tasteful environment. The breakfast is carefully curated, with a lovely touch being the little list you can fill out to indicate what you'd like to eat, helping to reduce food waste. Very well done. One of the evenings, we also dined there, with a menu where everyone sat together at long tables, making it easy to strike up conversations with others. The overall experience was truly delightful!

The place has a beautiful fireplace. and a very small humble spa. just enough to relax. there is a restaurant there, the food is good and breakfast good as well. I recomend it to relax and unplug from the world. Gilleleje is just 1.7 km (20 mins walk) through a sweet beautiful path.

Villa Strand is an exceptional place to stay. It is separate to the Hotel Hornbaekhus, where we had breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and rooms are decorated and furnished in a tasteful Nordic style. There is a lovely balcony with views over the dunes to the sea. There is direct access on to the lovely sandy beach, and it's just a few minutes from the lively village centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Strand if you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
