This guest apartment is located nicely for walking to local restaurants and an easy drive to surrounding destinations. The kitchen area had a variety of utensils, if you wish to prepare a simple meal and the bed was great. Everything was neat and clean, with easy communication. Street noise was noticeable only on the weekend and fairly well mitigated when windows are closed. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location, the view, the beach nearby, the main roads a short drive away, the proximity to Pagua Bay. We also like the natural bug repellent and cream for bites available. The mosquito net was a big plus.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport; essentially after a long day of travel to Dominica, we just wanted a quick taxi ride to a hotel to relax and unwind. The hotel was a great choice for this. We were there in mid-February 2025 and there was evidence of a 'former glory' (prior to a hurricane, perhaps) in the form of an outdoor courtyard, bar and stage. There was construction in process and I have hopes for a bright future for this facility as the entire staff was extremely welcoming, attentive and informative. Since there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we requested a dinner there, which was superb as was the breakfast the following morning. After breakfast, we walked about 45 minutes, mostly downhill and quite scenic, back to the airport to get a rental car and began our exploration of Dominica. Some travelers might choose to do it differently and immediately leave the airport area to 'see the sights'. I have no regrets; primarily because of the friendly staff at the Classique International.

It was an excellent experience during my ~12 hours stay. It was a pleasant 30min walk from the airport. Sana was waiting to welcome me to the apartment - it was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Sana took care of me providing options for meals in a nearby place. In the morning, Sana drove me an hour to Portsmouth, handed me the bus fare in local currency so that I can get to Roseau on time by noon. I could not have asked for a warmer welcome from the Dominican people.

This place is really great...staff extremely helpful and sympathic. Ultra clean and comfortable. Located on a hill (very steep roads but this is standard in Dominica) above Picard, the southern part of Portsmouth city. View is amazing on the bay. Top WIFI and good breakfast. Small refreshing swimming pool.
