Marta sent us lots of information ahead of our visit so that we could book activities in advance. She also gave us lots of suggestions on arrival.
The hotel is very modern and uncluttered. Our room had a lovely balcony with amazing views of the castle and surrounding scenery.
Marta also suggested we park our motorbikes in her garden, even though the free parking just outside the hotel seems very secure.

We loved all the history and the walks that started in Alquezar. Then in the evening after you have freshen up there are various restaurants that you can go to. The only warning I would give to anyone is that it is very hilly and loads of steep steps you have to climb to get around. Therefore if you have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you.

The apartments are really nice, very clean and secure.
The apartments are really nice, very clean and secure. Alquezar is a truly beautiful medieval village with so much to offer. Angel was very friendly and welcoming and was on hand if we needed help. The apartments are close to some really nice restaurants who sold excellent food at a decent price. Parking is literally a few steps from the gates of the property.
The heating worked really well so it was nice and cosy for us.
There is only a small supermarket in the village but Barbastro has a number of good supermarkets. We found Mercadona very easily and got all the supplies we needed there.
I would recommend this property to other travellers.

I didn't know what we were getting into when I booked a hotel there, it was just a good location on the map. The town itself is small but quaint, all medieval. It's in a very interesting place in the mountains (not not super high up) with an impressive landscape. There are walking, hiking trails, a camping near by and probably lots of climbing to be done. However, I was with a person with limited mobility so we didn't do any of that. The roads are cobblestone and hilly and a bit challenging for that, but if you are in good health than it's probably a nice 2 or 3 day trip.

Parking is available for free within walking distance of the hotel and they have an elevator! Beautiful room with a comfortable bed. Stunning view of the alquezar from our room. I'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing place, (out of season), in season....? Wonderful scenary in the Rio Véro canyon, ideal for hot weather and a swim. We ate in a good tapas bar Villacomtal, off the arched square Rafael Ayerbe, on a shady terrace overlooking a gorge.

Fabulous hotel in the middle of Alquezar, parking on site which is a big bonus. we had a great room overlooking the Collegiate with bags of space and a free minibar. Nice little cafe on site but no restaurant (not needed given the options available). Very friendly and efficient staff.
An excellent location in Alquezar with stunning views. The private car parking space beneath the apartment is extremely convenient. The apartment is large, comfortable, warm and adequately equipped for self catering. Check in process was well communicated and straight forward.
Right next to the main square in Alquezar. We had a room that looked towards the rock and mountain (|no views), but since it was the festivities of the village, this meant that we didn't hear the music (the party went on until 5 or 6 am!. Good breakfast.
Worth getting a room with a balcony as we had a fantastic view of the city. The hotel is within the old city walls amongst the alley ways. Very clean and big bathroom. Comfy bed and lots of windows to make the most of that special view.
