The owner/host Fulgencio is a dream. There's no elevator at Hostal Calaverde, so Fulgencio carried our bicycle panniers up to our 3rd floor room. I texted him at dinner that our heat hadn't worked, and he immediately got the electrical system working, so when we arrived after dinner, all was fine. He was cheerful, helpful, and welcoming.
