The finca is a well maintained complex with some 10 apartments. We had a small apartment with a nice balcony, with in the distance an ocean view. Downstairs is a small rather basic kitchen (kitchenette). Upstairs was a spacious bedroom/sitting room and a nice balcony. The apartment was very clean, and it was very quiet. But we were the only visitors that week.
Valsequillo is nearby and has a good supermarket and some nice small restaurants. We like walking and we could start walking right from the finca. In Valsequillo you can start various walks. Driving to other places is easy (e.g. Pico de las Nieves is about an hour driving).
Located in Valsequillo in the Canary Islands region, Tranquilidad y relax features a patio. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Silent location in a village in the mountains altitude cca 650 asl, a bit colder than at the seaside, spacious and very clean apartment, well equipped, big terrace with a mountain view, good communication with a landlord. Good value for money.
Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Atico Las Vegas is set in Valsequillo.

The accomodation particularly the kitchen area is exceptionally well resourced.

The villa is in a great location, the highest house. There are no services nearby, you can eat your own food in the shared kitchen. It is definitely worth booking a room with a view of the golf course and the distant sea - I "made a mistake" and didn't realize that the Junior Suite with a mountain view is on the ground level, with windows facing the cars in the parking lot. It is easy to get there by bus from either Las Palmas or Santa Brigida. The water in the small swimming pool is not heated, so at least for me the water was too cold.
Set in a beautiful 19th-century Canarian country house, Hotel Rural El Refugio - Adults Only offers charming rooms overlooking the picturesque countryside surrounding Tejeda.

Fantastic location for hiking trails with breathtaking views. The room was comfortable, clean with a decent hot shower which was welcome after a day on the trails. The communal area with free tea and coffee all day is a lovely touch and ideal place to read and take in the views. I also loved the easy to use vending machine for snacks and beer/wine.
The food in the restaurant is also excellent so make sure to book a table for dinner.
Situated within 43 km of Aqualand Maspalomas and 22 km of Parque de Santa Catalina, SAHERA HOTEL Boutique offers rooms in Telde.

The hotel was super clean, everything was as shown on the photos. They had a breakfast lounge with coffee, tea, pastries, toast, etc. Quite location with parking right outside which was a major plus as all the streets surrounding the area where packed with cars.
La Buhardilla del Refugio features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Tejeda. The property has a bar, as well as a restaurant serving French cuisine.

This area is so perfect for hiking, relaxing and experiencing peaceful nature.
At this time of year the mountains are filled with flowers.
It just makes me feel glad to be alive, breathing mountain air and to be surrounded by unspoilt nature. I hiked circular route 8, Roque Vela, and route 3 from Cuevas Blancas back to El Rincón.
I cooked in the casa because I enjoyed relaxing evenings there.
It was really easy to get there by guagua. 80 Santa Catalina to Telde, then 13 to El Rincon.

Property is in desperate need of refurbishment and repair.
Property is in desperate need of refurbishment and repair. If the property was up to scratch, the holiday would have been worth the money, which was, frankly, very expensive. Beautiful views and peace and quiet and having a games room saved the day. We made the most of it, and enjoyed our holiday despite the failings of the property.

The town is small and has little to offer but the area is fabulous.
Roads are hairy, especially for an Englishman!
Restaurants are fabulous (Asador Grill Casa Brito and Casa Mario in Telde).
Surrounding volcanic scenery is amazing! Roque Nublo, Roque Bentayga and La Caldera de Bandama especially.
Whale & Dolphin watching trips are a gamble! We saw nothing but had an enjoyable (if a bit rough!) boat trip along the coast.

Casa Teresa is a nice house in an urban development.
Casa Teresa is a nice house in an urban development. The interior furnishings are very good, but it is starting to show signs of wear and tear. The ground floor is actually a basement which has to be lit all the time due to the lack of sunlight. This is especially true for the room with two beds. The room upstairs is very nice. The second room upstairs, which would be better than the one downstairs, is unfortunately not for rent. During our stay, renovations were underway in the house next door with lots of noise and dust, which we were not warned about in advance. During the second half of our stay (2 weeks in total), a number of tiny ants emerged and relentlessly invaded the kitchen area. The second part of the staircase to the terrace is very dangerous. Here the owner should provide contrasting markings on the edges of the stairs. Without this marking, it is very dangerous to walk down in low light. The overall impression is contradictory despite the cleanliness of the house on the one hand but for the defects mentioned and also for the owner's efforts to downplay the problems.
