Amazing location with the most beautiful welcoming and friendly people. Our family had the best time and never ever wanted to leave. Rustic, old earth and soul living that reminded you what's really important in life.

Mareia and Jolame are the loveliest hosts you can imagine. I was the only guest there but they still took so much time for a full day trip to do the reef shark snorkeling with me and a nice island for picnic. They food was always fresh and so delicious. They were welcoming me like a family member. Vinaka vaka levu!

Absolutely beautiful views. The rooms are also very comfortable and nice. We did sabu sabu which is when you find kava in the village to give to the chief for access into the village and played volleyball and games with the kids. We were also very lucky to watch a dance and join them in drinking kava. They picked us up from a boat from octopus resort as we were coming down south from the yasawa flyer. Stay respectful of the village people when you come and bring clothes to cover your legs and shoulders.
Set on 1 km of beach in Likuliku Bay, this resort offers a swimming pool and a luxurious day spa. There are 2 bars, a restaurant and a variety of cultural activities available.

Brilliant range of activities with lots of options every day from morning until night- make sure you get involved, there are usually prizes involved!. The village trip was fantastic! We loved how the proceeds from some activities went to supporting the nearby village where many of the staff live. Staff were very attentive and friendly, it felt like they took the time to get to know their guests. We were upgraded for free when we arrived and were given a welcome drink during check in. The room was spacious and clean and we loved how we had our own little burra and patio. The location is great, right on the beach with hammocks and deck chairs, and with a reef for snorkelling. The food was incredible, lots of variety and really tasty large portions. I can’t fault this place :)
Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.

Absolutely loved Barefoot Kuata - the resort is beautiful, the staff is super nice and the food is some of the best one I had in the Yasawa Islands! A Must stay, I only stayed one night but wish I would have spent more time here!

The food here is insanely good. Not the case with other island packages. It’s not the cheapest food package but for good reason. The staff are also amazing. Despite staying in the ‘budget’ room, it was clean, aircon worked well and the shared bathrooms were always clean and available.
Located in the secluded Yasawa Islands, the eco-friendly Barefoot Manta Island Resort Resort is ideally situated for swimming, diving and snorkeling, as all bungalows are set on the beach.

The only place to rival an island resort like this would be another island resort… staff were really friendly and welcoming, couldn’t do enough for all the guests

Family was amazing. Food was amazing. Remote location was amazing. Beautifully authentic experience, that will long live on in our memory. Was such an honour to connect with the host family, play with the kids, and be so warmly welcomed into the village community. I hope all who come be sure to give presence and thanks to the land and its people. It is a rare and special thing to be able to live so simply in this untouched and untainted way -- this is the first and only homestay in Soso Bay (largest village in the Yasawas). Wow, wow, wow. We miss it already!
Our stay in Wayal Lalai Eco Haven was really nice!
Our stay in Wayal Lalai Eco Haven was really nice! After been in other islands this one was one of our favourites with the beaches, activities, hikings and food!
For sure I would recommend anyone to come here to visit this really nice lodge.

See other review. Good value holiday in a quiet, relaxing and friendly island. Basic conditions but all you need. Would NOT meet expectations of people wanting a fancy resort with all the frills. But if you are after a basic holiday in paradise then you will love it

We come two times a year because of the people and the lifestyle. As I talked to other families they said the same thing. They love how friendly the staff are and how everyone is welcome. Best place we ever stayed. If you’re thinking of doing Fiji make this spot a priority. Be careful thought, you will fall in love and never want to leave.
Make sure to do the island walk, the mountain hike and eat some do the amazing pancakecays at breakfast.

A gorgeous spot that I enjoyed exploring - snorkelling, kayaking, hiking. I also spent a lot of time enjoying the hammocks😉 The food was tasty and plentiful. The culture lessons were interesting and informative. The staff were wonderful.
