This is a perfect place to stay in Arras over the festive season as its in easy walking distance of the Christmas market, the ancient squares and to the light show on the cathedral. We were completely charmed. The rooms are compact but have everything one needs and the breakfast was very good with pancakes, boiled eggs and the usual ham and cheese and bread. Staff were attentive and helpful and there is a carpark at the back which is only 10 euros. It was a perfect place to stop en route to Calais.

Very modern and classy rooms and the hotel itself in general , with excellent amenities as the underground parking underneath (very reasonably priced) and a great restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. I was expecting a good business-hotel, but this Mercure is really to enjoy!

Great location near Place de Heroes and Carriere Wellington. Room was nicely appointed and clean overall. Hotel was quiet and conducive to adequate rest. The shower in my room was better than most, as it was a full-sized standup shower - not as common unless staying at a much nicer hotel, especially in France.
