Cucuron has a beautiful big manmade pond / bassin in the city center that is surrounded by really tall Plane trees. It is stunning in the day and spectacular when all lit up at night. There are several bars and restaurants around the pond from which to choose (we avoided some due to bad reviews). Play it safe and get reservations as we saw people get turned away. We chose a Monday night because they have a very nice market on Tuesday mornings. You can take a walk around the old village and see where it was a fortified village at one time.
