Having recently sold our villa in a nearby village, we know the area well. Fayence is the largest of a number of nearby hill top villages, all with quaint cobbled streets and beautiful views. There is a choice of supermarkets and excellent boulangeries within easy reach. Fayence has a market three mornings a week, with the Saturday market being the largest - and busiest!Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom

The house was exceptional, a lovely size for the four of us and a big garden with an amazing swimming pool! The supermarket was only a 10 minute walk away and the beautiful town was very easy to get to (although a very steep hill)! The food at the restaurant is superb. For dessert chose the almond cake with cherry and elderberry confit and was I think the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. The homestead is Provençal country bliss, together with the bluest secluded pool, and dining comes with the best views of hilltop Fayence as the sun sets. The air-conditioner works well and there is a good mini bar with very reasonable prices. Of course there is coffee making facilities as well. It is located 75 metres from the old church square.
