Breakfast was simple and excellent. Served in a common area , where you met the other guests. Location is quiet and relaxing, handy for Bayeux, Caen and Juno beach. Great for a stopover if travelling by boat from Cherbourg.

We had stayed at the property about 15 years ago and on our way back from our house in SW France to the UK we decided to make a stop over for a night in Normandie. Really delighted we came back. Really excellent facilities and charm. Staff were very welcoming and we had an excellent dinner in their restaurant. Great fish of the day!

The breakfast was excellent - we chose the 'American' breakfast which i really wasn't sure about, but it exceeded both our expectations and it was perfectly cooked. We will be returning definitely for another breakfast - scrambled eggs, various charcuterie and very fresh oakleaf lettuce, croissants, bread, cheeses and yoghurt and more..
The setting was very, very quiet and the chateaux/castle is very interesting and steeped in history and very French.
