The staff was super nice and dinner was offered on the premises on a cold rainy day. They let us put our motorcycle in the garage.

There was no selection of food. You ate what was placed in front of you. No problem for my wife. But being diabetic. The orange juice, the jams, I had to avoid. The hot tub that was advertised at the property was not free. There was a steep price to use it. Didn’t find that out till we checked in.
The host was wonderful and charming. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious. If I was to return, knowing what I know now. I would still stay there

The hotel looks traditional from the outside and even the hallway. So it was delight to get into the bedroom to find that it and the en-suite are totally modernised. Large comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Nespresso coffee machine.
The host pointed us to the lift so we didn't even need to climb the stairs.
If we pass this way again, it would be the place we would choose.
Probably the best hotel I have stayed in - lovely family running it, wonderful old room, simply delicious dinner cooked for us (I am vegetarian and I have never had such a fine meal anywhere in France), and a fabulous homemade breakfast with everything, requested by us unreasonably early in the morning. A fine, great value experience.
