Munster is a nice town with lots of interesting places to visit. Of course this attracts many tourists, therefore avoid going there on the weekend. A good point to start is at the tourist information where you will find brochures in different languages and very friendly staff patiently explaining everything you ask them.
If you want to buy presents or maybe also for yourself, make sure to check out the wines they sell there as well as the sweet macarons offered in the shops of the shopping street.

It's a great location when you want to hike in the Vosges.
It's a great location when you want to hike in the Vosges. For most towns in the Elzas you have to drive over Colmar and about 20 roundabouts. The local cheese is marvelous and there are a lot of nice reatsurants with local dishes on the menu.

Munster is a relatively small town situated in the Vosges.
Munster is a relatively small town situated in the Vosges. It is a charming town with a lovely countryside, the town itself does not offer much in terms of venues and can be visited in one day.
The town can be easily traversed by foot and the surrounding hiking paths as well.
Despite this, it is definitely not an extremely lively town and it is not ideal to stay more than 2 days there.

The attraction of the hotel is the excellent fine dining and a very good breakfast in the morning that makes you want to come again and enjoy. The hotel is quite remote up the mountain, such that there is a tendency to remain at the hotel for dining.
Good staff that is very pleasant and hardworking.
A lot of attention to detail and very clean thoughout. They aim for perfection in providing a service to their guests.
The pool is small (10m), but has a nice ambiance with sauna and jacuzzi. Very clean.
delighted to arrive in the rain after a hard day cycling the first stage of The Western Front Way. Our room had a great view of the river and the shower was amazing. Secure parking for the bikes. The hotel is very modern and the staff attentive. Breakfast was excellent and fuelled us for our onward journey.
