It is a beautiful property with a lot of space and a wonderful breakfast and host. She made sure we knew we needed dinner reservations in town and suggested a wonderful restaurant. Such a peaceful setting to return to after visiting the Loire Valley.

This eco-friendly hotel is set in a 16th-century troglodyte farmhouse, 0.6 mi from the center of Azay-le-Rideau in the Center region. It offers a flowery garden, a lounge area with free Wi-Fi.

The room was about as cool as I had expected it to be, and I had pretty high expectations. :) The breakfast was surprisingly good too- both the selection of food, and the cool atmosphere in a cave. It was nice to be able walk into town. Also convenient for excursious to many other towns in the Loire Valley.

    The town itself has no particular attractions that I was...

    The town itself has no particular attractions that I was aware of; it’s just a sleepy little place. However, I was in the region to visit friends in nearby Saint-Epain, and to tour around some, and Neuil was perfectly fine for my purposes
