The hotel is attractive and welcoming. The food is exceptional and the spa facilities accessible and clean. The room was comfortable, clean and the decor in keeping with the traditional style of the hotel. This was our second visit which speaks volumes!

A good friend of mine celebrates all 5 years his birthday in Lindfield and we stayed over the weekend at Chestnut Tree Cottage. In middle of July at South England Showground is a fantastic Motorcycle Show with lots of oldtimer. Wakehurst is biggest seed collection in the world and a wonderfull place to visit. And the reservoire is always worth a hike.

It was clean, bedroom was equipped with a comfortable bed and very good quality bed linen. The location was perfect for us, very quiet in the night and plenty of fresh air from open windows. Breakfast was well organised and the staff accommodating.

Nothing was open except not very friendly post office.

Nothing was open except not very friendly post office. Understand that it is difficult at the moment with COVID. Not much there really. We were only passing through as going to a 40th Anniversary celebration in West Hoathly. Taxis very expensive.
