Modern, clean and very well equipped for a three-night stay. It was great to find cupboard and fridge basics provided (eg bread, milk, salt pepper, butter, milk etc). Great communication with owner. It was a very last minute booking, so we ended up with an apartment with a sofa bed, however I found it incredibly comfortable.

The hotel is superbly located, just off junction 23 of the M6 motorway, next to Haydock Park Racecourse, and serves as a gateway to the entire North West region.

Excellent value for money. The room was spacious enough for a family of four and breakfast was excellent. Bonus that it had a pool and spa facilities. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and made a fuss of the kids. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and the food was lovely - and the kids had three courses for free! Great hotel, would happily stay here again.

The staff at rgw bar, breakfast and valentine meal were great.

The Bay Horse is convenient for Haydock Racecourse, the M6, local train stations, and it is 9.9 mi from Manchester's Trafford Center. It offers free unlimited WiFi.
