I’ve used this hotel twice for cycling trips to the New Forest. The car park is really handy and the rooms are very comfortable. I wish they had indoor, secure cycling storage.

It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us.
Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete.
We certainly come back here!
Don’t forget to visit Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and the beautiful Bucklers Hard. There is a nice pub and good food!

Bartley is a good location for travelers wanting to explore the vast new forest. It allows you to start right from your place of stay and enjoy the landscape and plenty of animals/wildlife (deer, squirrels, horses).

Location and room was great, staff were helpful and friendly. My nan had an easy access ground floor rom that smelt a bit but ours was fine. You have appreciate it is a very old converted listed building so it wont have the feel and facilities of a big hotel.
The food is very good with breakfast lunch and dinner menus, a bar area and plenty of parking. Dogs are welcomed and is half hour from Lyndhurst which has lots of nice shops.
Perfect fully dog friendly hotel. Sumptious luxury rooms, plenty of areas for socialising. Great staff, great food and you can eat with your dog. Best part was the huge fenced in gardens and access to the forest. Perfect for dogs and humans.
Loved the quiet location, but still walking distance from Ashurst New Forest station.
The hotel was clean, and they offered breakfast, dinner, as well as a bar.
My bed was very comfortable, and the room was great overall.
The location, the hotel, the staff were very friendly, helpful and warm in approach. The food was lovely. We were very well looked after and would certainly highly recommend to anyone. We will certainly visit again
The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a rural location and was very peaceful - no traffic noise.
