Been visiting Bembridge now for the last nine years and have always found it peaceful and relaxing and a great area with dog. I have been visiting IOW for years as parents lived there.
I have been visiting IOW for years as parents lived there. I hadn’t been to stay in Benbridge but I was disappointed how far we had to travel to find things for my teenage grandson to do. I disliked travelling up and down unlighted hills to get to Ryde and Newport where most of the things my teenage grandson liked to do were there. Bembridge is a very pretty place, with fine properties and lovely tree-lined roads. The village has all the normal facilities ie church, village hall, hairdressers, restaurants, school etc. etc. The lifeboat station and all the painted houseboats are a feature too. I especially liked the large bedroom.
