We only stayed in Bewdley so we were close to the safari park we were visiting. Bewdley itself is lovely, however, there are limited restaurants. When we were there, there was a lot of construction work going on so it was impossible to get a nice seat by the riverside (which is what we went for).

A beautiful, historic town in Worcestershire, Bewdley sits charmingly on the River Severn, offering a delightful blend of picturesque buildings, a stunning stone bridge, and one of the main stations for the renowned Severn Valley Steam Railway.
The town has plenty of dining and drinking options, with a special appeal for real ale enthusiasts. Highlights include The Rat, boasting 12 real ales on tap, the Mughouse Pub on the quay, and Bewdley’s own brewery (though with limited opening hours). Even the local fish and chip shop caters to dietary needs with gluten- and lactose-free options—a nice touch. And if you're after something familiar, Bewdley even has a Wetherspoons!

Small enough to get around easily, but enough shops, eateries and facilities to keep you busy and entertained. The river is beautiful, especially at sunset. you can sit and relax at the riverside with a coffee during the day and a glass of wine in the evening. The museum was interesting for all ages and leads to beautiful gardens, an ideal place to take a gentle stroll and unwind.

Bewdley is a wonderful little town, theres plenty of places to eat and drink. The walks along the river are beautiful and peaceful. There is plenty of little “ quirky” shops to have a look around plus a museum which is free to visit, overall it is a lovely place to visit & stay would highly recommend

This is a beautifully decorated cottage with a feeling or real space but still cosy. whilst it is tucked away its location is perfect for exploring bewdley - very cute and quaint streets. (Mostly cash only btw). Also 10min from safari park in car and same distance to wyre forest with kids playground.
Shower pressure amazing, kitchen perfect size and Netflix for the kids. They wanted to live there!
The hotel and location was perfect. The rooms are clean, themed and beautifully furnished. Set in lovely grounds just on the outskirts of Bewdley. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent, but unfortunately there wasn’t the choice of fruit, ie tin grapefruit or compote berries which is my preference for breakfast.
Location was ideal - short walk into Bewdley - and as the town centre was flooded that was just as well - easy to get in and out by car without going through the centre. Flat was very comfortable. I was also impressed at how quiet it was as the road seemed quite busy - the flat is at the back of the building.
Lovely townhouse ideally suited for exploring Bewdley. Sarah was very helpful and entry was very easy with a key code provided. The house has plenty of space and very comfy beds.
