A great base for exploring Suffolk.

A great base for exploring Suffolk. We found it easy to walk to Southwold & Walberswick, via stunning scenery. The Holy Trinity church is a very interesting & beautiful building & well worth a visit. The tour (run on Thursdays at 11am) was excellent. The nature reserve makes it a really special place to stay or visit

There is not much in Blythburgh itself, apart from the church and station, but it is convenient for so many other attractions. The area has connections to Britten & Pears, there are beaches and countryside nearby and plenty of wildlife. A short drive to the East Anglian Transport Museum.
