I've lived in Bradford all my life apart from the last 5 years. So come to see family and friends. Broadway is great not the biggest shopping centre but its nice has a food court all one level. Some nice bars too Sundridge Wells and weatherspoons in centenary Square. Lovely water fountains there too nice seeing the kids having fun in there.

There is literally so much happening as Bradford: the City of Culture. Definitely worth checking out. My favorites: Peace Museum at Salts Mill, Saltaire, Impressions Gallery, Lister Park, Pictureville cinema, Cartwright Hall and the National Science and Media Museum. Enjoy. I certainly did.

Bradford is a quieter city than some, but It does have 2 theatres and a great football team for entertainment. It's a good base for travelling around with great rail and road links. The world heritage site at Saltaire is a must to visit and less than 30 mins away

As Bradford is 2025 City of Culture there was a lot to see in terms of exhibitions and art, especially from David Hockney: the Saltaire Hockney exhibition is also only a few miles away.
All in all well worth a visit certainly this year.

Having been around since 1867 (previously the Railway Hotel) the Great Victoria is a classy place to stay in the heart of Bradford. Like most places of this age it is showing some wear and tear but it is still classy, comfortable, the staff welcoming and helpful, the breakfast very good. I like places like this, with a large open reception, sweeping staircases, height vaulted ceilings.
It is also very good value for money.
Hotel was amazing. Lovely warm cosy and above all....quiet!!
The host was amazing went above and beyond before and after our stay to ensure everything was ready as it was a last min booking and to ensure we were happy after the stay. The rooms were a lovely standard. Soundproofed and very relaxing. This place is a hidden treasure in bradford.
We quite frequently stay at the Ibis in Shipley as for us it is quite central and very convenient for Leeds and Bradford. We know the surrounding area very well as we both originate from this area and therefore the Ibis hotel is just the ticket.
The location to everything in the centre of Bradford and the fact it has parking.we were going to Bradford Pride and the hotel was perfect for everything we needed.
