Around 2 miles from the city centre, Causeway House is 5 minutes’ walk from the National Wallace Monument, commemorating Sir William Wallace.

Glroia made sure we get recommendations for dinner and breakfast and also tried to help with another accomodation for the following days. Check in procedure was told in detail and therefor very easy. The room was clean and more than enough for our stay. A car park was available as well.

The Meadowpark Bar, Kitchen & Rooms has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Stirling. Located around 47 km from Glasgow Cathedral, the hotel with free WiFi is also 47 km away from Celtic Park.

We loved our stay here. The Meadowpark sits just outside Stirling, but a 10 minute drive or bus has you in town making the property exceptionally good value. Beautifully appointed rooms with high ceilings, considered decor, big comfy beds, and the best showers. The pub/restaurant offers a variety of different meals and daily specials, all very tasty. There is a breakfast box provided the night before so you can breakfast at your leisure. And last but not least, the staff are delightful. Always a friendly smile and greeting. Highly recommended place to stay (halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh). P.s. take a larger room if you can.

Bridge of Allan is easily accessed from the motorway and well located for exploring the Central Belt, as well as being a quiet destination itself. It has a good range of shops, although we only found one supermarket (Co-op) in the town. There is a range of places to eat and drink to suit most pockets and tastes, though booking is recommended in smaller places. While walking is easy, much of the town is up a fairly steep bank, so accessibility is less straightforward.

The town was ok and there were many shops and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. But it was busy and could do with more dog friendly coffee shops. The Hideaway Cafe was really good for bringing our dog with us as was the one of the bars.

    Excellent location.

Excellent location. Lovely walks, good restaurants and cafes and shops. Interesting and attractive Victorian spa town, a much better option as a base for exploring this area than Stirling. Good train links North and to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow

Lovely little town, a mixture of shops, some chains (Dominos / Costs etc.) and other independent cafes. Parking wasn't a problem for us and things to do nearby including a safari park, Stirling castle and other nice towns.

Spectacular view and close to so many activities. It wasn't too far from Bridge of Allan which has everything you need but if you want to just stay around the pods then you can enjoy the fresh air and just chill. The owner is very friendly and will happily suggest places to visit and anything else. It is a working farm so be prepared to have a hen walk into your pod etc. I edited my post after it had been reviewed as my photo had still not uploaded when posted.

The whole place was actually immaculately clean, and I really mean that. There were extras and even a small can of milk in the fridge. Everything was well laid out and it's in a beautiful spot. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful, something that matters if you have used airbnb's and hotels often. I can't think of anything to fault it. I stayed with my dog and there's lots of spots to walk a dog in the local area. Overall a 10/10 stay.

Perfect well appointed wee flat, 5 mins walk to train station and the lovely shops, restaurants and cafes of Bridge of Allan. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and are on site if you need anything. We stayed a couple of nights to visit family but it’s an ideal base for exploring the Stirling area.

Due to lack of sunlight, but hot weather, meant that it was cool inside the flat. Facilities excellent, comfortable furniture. Bridge of Allan a nice place. Railway station meant easy access to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
