Cycle experience located next to train station was reasonable and allowed us 3 days to cycle around the new forest. The snake catcher pub served lovely meals and was close to accomodation. Ideal as a stopover location.
Ideal as a stopover location. Good access by train, and driving route to Lyndhurst or Lymington is straightforward. Enough places to eat/drink, but not many shops. If you are into hiking, it is perfect
If you are into hiking, it is perfect If you like to see England, set in stone from long ago, it is perfect it's idyllic but if walking through the woods, wear waterproof shoes. A very picturesque place with wild ponies sharing the green spaces with us humans. The weather during our visit was not ideal and didn’t really afford us the opportunity to explore Brockenhurst as much as I wanted.
