The 300 Yr old coaching inn has been renovated to a very high spec! No expense has been spared in this gem of a hotel.
We stayed for two nights and would go back in a heartbeat.
The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. We had two breakfasts and one evening meal. The food is sublime.
With the hotel being in Brough, just off the A66. We found it ideal for access to plenty to do. Castles galore and walks to suit everyone.
Despite everything being very high end, the prices are very reasonable.
We can't sing its praises enough.
A very helpful hotel, they were happy to go above and beyond. We had an early check in, which enabled us to get changed before an event.
We had a great choice for breakfast which was cooked very well and thoroughly enjoyed.
As I was travelling solo it was good to feel more like a house guest than a client in an impersonal hotel.
I enjoy the warm ambience of personal photographs and antique artefacts in this village home.
