We ate in the main restaurant, food was fantastic. Really good quality and felt like a fine dining experience. Hotel was quiet as it was mid-week however we felt very well looked after. Room was very comfortable. Grounds are very pretty.

Perfectly placed if you are exploring the southern part of the Highlands. Not too big, but loads of places to eat/drink. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Not spoilt by big housing estates/industrial development - picturesque.

Very friendly people, wonderful location, great eating at the pubs and restaurants, and you have local shops to purchase what you need.
My only thing is be mindeful of where your staying as if you need peace and quiet ask what time the music finishes....just saying.
My favourite is the all year round Christmas shop....you've got to go it's amazing!!!!

Callander is a town surrounded by exceptional beauty but like a lot of towns has suffered from the pandemic and economic turmoil.
It needs you! Help Callander get back to a bustling tourist location. It is a place for all seasons.

Nice, very safe, well kept, small town with good shops & restaurants, not far from Stirling. Although Roman Camp Hotel is very secluded, it’s actually on the Main Street, on the banks of the river Teith.

Hotel in on the main street in Callander, so a good location for shops etc. Room was at the side, so no real traffic noise.
Good sized bathroom and large shower. Had dinner in the bistro downstairs and it was excellent - both the food and service. Ditto breakfast - hot food to order, which meant my veg omelette was fresh and a good start to my day.
This is a gem of accommodation in Callander, 10 mins walk from town centre. It is spotlessly clean and has all you need just like home. Very quiet area . Was welcomed by Ruth the owner on our arrival. Will definitely be back.
Just enjoyed a fabulous stay at The Waverley Hotel. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, food was delicious and customer service was exceptional. A perfect stay. Thank you so much, we can't wait to visit again.
