On the outskirts of Skipton, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, this charming, family-run hotel boasts a wonderful canal-side restaurant, great leisure facilities and idyllic views of the Leeds and...

It has great views and right on the canal. The swimming pool was a nice extra too. The restaurant and evening meal was brilliant, quality and taste was above my expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay all be it only two nights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay all be it only two nights. The staff were most accommodating and made us feel at ease and very welcome. The room was comfortable, clean and of a good size. Breakfast was great, kept us going all day and tasted lovely. The only slight adjustments/additions I would personally make are add a small fridge and due to my poor eye sight a larger television 27" would be great. If we require accommodation in the area again we shan't hesitate in booking Throstle nest farm again.
