United StatesAmazing staff!! The lady at the front desk helped us get into a restaurant that didn’t seem to be taking any more reservations. They were all so friendly and helpful - 5 stars all around. Location is great and we walked everywhere. The bathroom is very nice although it took us a bit to understand how to use the hot water system. Once we figured it out, it was good. The room size is very nice with a nice size closet and a good blow dryer. Breakfast is also delicious with a selection of eggs, bacon, etc made fresh!

October 2022 Booked a place to stay as we were attending a wedding close by. What a hidden gem we found!! Beautiful linking streets with well kept houses/gardens, amazing architecture. We enjoyed daily strolls in/around Kingsand and Cawsand and spotted something new everytime!! Friendly locals met on our walks, visiting the Rising Sun pub and Shipshape gift shop (we found some quirky hand crafted gifts here and the owner was so lovely!!) Highly recommend The Bay for delicious food and great service (twice!) A night stroll lead us to crashing waves at the clock tower.... it was something magical! Cawsand is a beautiful place to escape to, full of character. Nice beach and situated on the coast path. If you're feeling active, you can swim, walk, kayak etc. If you want to chill, you can can enjoy the pubs and cafes or just sit on the beach with an ice cream looking at the beautiful views. We were there for a wedding at Polhawn Fort and this was a great distance for that! The owners were lovely and they had a cute little dog wandering around! Very spacious grounds at the front of the property if you want to relax. Very good wifi!
