The host was very obstructive about us dropping off our bags early. We literally asked to drop our bags while the cleaner was there so we could go off and enjoy our day - three small bags.
Contrary to what we were told, nobody had stayed the night before and the cleaners was not there cleaning so would have been no trouble at all. But the host clearly didn't want to be helpful.

It was very relaxing, i think it was definitely a great idea to choose this location for such a relaxing getaway, as the hotel grounds were massive, which definitely helped with escaping the city murmur. If only the jacuzzis were open for longer than 7!

This is a wonderful Cotswold market town, with a variety of shops, bars and cafes. It has some interesting architectural features worth visiting, e.g. The Alms Houses and St.Mary's Church. It would be ideal for a romantic break. It's location is handy for day trips to explore the nearby towns of Moreton in the Marsh, Stow on the Wold etc.
The Crown & Cushion is a good place to stay and it has a nice bar. The Chequers, Blue Boar and The Fox are all worth a visit too!

A cute little country town with a few shops and pubs, and good access to other parts of the Cotswolds. There's a fantastic playground in Chipping Norton which I would highly recommend, and a free car park with ample spaces and toilets (20p to use)

Make sure you go on market day in summer and take a cool bag to make the most of the produce.
Check out the yarn shop - a fantastic spot for knitters.
Take time to wander round the town and have a look at the almshouses to see what social housing used to look like.

What a lovely little cottage. Set on the hill overlooking fields down to Chipping Norton it’s such a tranquil location. Everything you could wish for is provided by the host who has took such care and attention to making your stay so comfortable. Subscription TV like Prime and Netflix was available for you to use which I thought was a nice touch. Dog friendly with so many lovely walks to explore on your door step. If ever we visit Chipping Norton again we would definitely book again.
Everything about this hotel was exceptional. It was absolutely the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The beds were so so comfortable. The warm welcome that we got from everyone was so lovely. The food was fab. The location couldn't be better in the middle of Chipping Norton.
The staff were so lovely and helpful, thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The cheapest drinks in the whole of Chipping Norton too which was great. The room was perfect and super comfortable too. Hope to see you guys again soon!
Location was great. Chipping Norton is a great little place. Beer was excellent probably the best pint. In Chipping Norton. Room was also pleasant and very clean.
