United KingdomOnly stayed one night as we went to a gig but it was a very clean and comfortable stay, the beds were super comfortable and although it was a shared bathroom, we had no issues at all, there were two separate bathrooms with a toilet and a shower in, both clean and well looked after. Joan was also lovely too! Great value for money and just over a 5 minute walk from the train station and centre!

I know the area very well I used to live in Liversedge which is actually where Healds Hall is as I already have visited it for different reasons before. The locals very friendly and hospitable. Nice restaurants which are very varied. We dined at Healds Hall Hotel and the food was amazing, but you need to book a table in advance as it is very popular and can get busy. Terrible, disappointing, lacked basic comforts, no heating, no hot water, toilet in one of the rooms kept breaking, no food or breakfast options, no bar both of which is predicted on website, no-one available was that helpful or overly concerned. No onsite staff in hotel, no-one! A weekend cut short due to the faults above and the most uncomfortable stay!
