The staff were brilliant and so helpful making this a place we will use now every time we are visiting our family. They came and joined us for dinner on our first night and we were all craving a pie and they didn’t disappoint- They were amazing!!

It was just a lovely stay , you need a car to travel about and explore beautiful towns near to congleton . I enjoyed holmes chapel which wasn’t far. The food in the Swettenham arms was very nice . Also the. Red lion too if you want basic meals. I’m sure there are lovely walks but didn’t get that far as it was much too cold went I went . Never thought to visit the area, but I am glad that I did, its life at a slower pace and a chance to get back to nature, each village has its own unique character and charm. Every pub seemed to serve really great food and people actually smiled and were pleasant and chatty. Some of the churches are good examples of what seems to be a slowly disappearing england, plenty of history and the locals enjoy telling their areas claim to fame.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom
