Breakfast was excellent! The location idyllic, and the hosts gracious!! It was the first, and nicest, B&B we stayed in on our two week stay in Ireland (both North and the Republic). You will NOT be disappointed if you book your stay there!!

A recently renovated guest house, Cullentra House offers accommodation in Cushendall.

Breakfast was amazing. We have stayed in numerous B&Bs throughout Ireland, the UK, and Australia. The breakfast during our stay at Cullentra House was one of the tops. The homemade baked goods were wonderful. The brown bread from our host’s mother’s recipe was absolutely delicious and made us feel at home. Also a great recommendation for dinner and even made the reservation for us.

An interesting and old Irish town with friendly locals.

An interesting and old Irish town with friendly locals. The beach is lovely and a fine spot for beach glass. There is a mobile coffee wagon which is excellent by the shore car park and we enjoyed a walk along the beach and cliff path to the Old Layde church. The sea is crystal clear and views across the bay and distant hills just add to the experience. There is a little corner shop in town which sells absolutely everything! and a little supermarket and large free car park

Excellent central base for exploring the Glens. Helpful Tourist Office. Special interest fly fishing accommodated with introduction to local anglers. Good variety of dining establishments on offer. Very narrow streets pose no difficulty. All drivers very courteous allowing easy passage for all vehicles.

Stunning area, if you're into landscapes or a keen walker or driver, this is the place for you. An absolutely underrated gem in a beautiful part of the world. People marring NI for its past reputation are missing out on some stunning places to see now.

Cushendall is a great place to base yourself.

Cushendall is a great place to base yourself. Harry’s is a great place to eat. Johnny Joe’s pub was a friendly, quirky pub to spend an evening in with wonderfully friendly staff and locals. Very close to wonderful beauty spots: Ballintoy harbour, Carrick-a-Rede, Cushendun Caves, Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dark Hedges and Glenariff Forest to name a few.

Lovely village tucked away on the banks of a small river. Free parking by the river. All of the pubs were very friendly and welcoming. Everything is in walking distance. Glenariff Forest Park and the Hidden Village of Galboly are nearby attractions 10-15 minutes drive away.

Fabulous apartment (one of three) , beautifully furnished and very spacious with two double bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and the living/dining room was big and comfortable. We had a nice balcony with chairs, to soak up the sun with a morning coffee. Our host was very friendly and helpful and within calling distance, if needed. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and right on the main street of Cushendall. A great place to explore the Glens of Antrim and further up the coast.

Cushendall was our first stop on a 5 day Coastal road trip. Glendale B&B is set back from the coastal road just minutes from the water. We received a hearty Northern Irish welcome from Mary who instantly made us feel at home. Our room was comfortable and spacious followed by a generous breakfast ready for our onwards journey up the coast. A great start to a fabulous trip.
