Located in Calne, 12 km from Lacock Abbey and 23 km from Lydiard Park, Heritage Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building.

Comfy bed with fresh Egyptian cotton sheets, spacious room and modern bathroom with plenty hot water in the shower. The breakfast was served with delicious homemade sourdough bread and the Wiltshire bacon was tasty and cooked to perfection along with eggs sourced locally. An amazing house where Ellie and Rexie were friendly and welcoming.

We travelled for a family diamond wedding anniversary party in the evening but were able to sample the delights of the local area including a walk on the Kennet and Avon canal. The Bear Hotel was a great place to stay and included car parking. The food at the hotel was excellent.

A most historic town with lots to explore.

A most historic town with lots to explore. A good amount of individual shops and the Shambles indoor market exceptional. Several good quality hotels right in the centre. A 25 min walk or a short drive takes you to the Cain flight of 29 locks. A must see.

    Interesting and old market town.

Interesting and old market town. Had its heyday in the early 19th Century so lots of roads are still named according to their historical function such as 'Sheep Street'. Lovely Georgian buildings and interesting architecture. plenty of places to eat well. Living in West London we are used to having great Indian food but still managed to have a superb indium]n meal at The Bengal Bite. Didn't have time to visit the Devizes Museum but told by our friend who has lived int he town 14 years, that the Museum is well worth a visit. Devizes is also a short drive from Avebury Rings, the largest group of neolithic stones rings in the UK. Avebury has an excellent National Trust visitor Centre with some of the history of the stones on display in a thatched roof 14th Century barn which is extraordinary. Also a good stopover if you are walking the Kennet and Avon Canal.

    Great apartment great price.

Great apartment great price. The only thing missing was a mini freezer & scissors otherwise it ticked all the boxes. I spent a day at Avebury stone circle so it was a perfect place to stay overnight. I will definitely stay again.

Really nice old town, some nice coffee shops and cafes. Quirky little shops and little alleyways to explore. The canals are a nice place to walk and everything is in walking distance. Plenty of parking available.

Stopped a couple of days in Devizes on our way to Wales. Great market town with lots of food and water holes. The White Bear is a buzzing little pub, with friendly customers and attentive hosts. Will return again, when hopefully the weather is nicer to us!

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of Devizes. The restaurant was fabulous, service and food was great and we had a lovely table. We stayed in the Bridal Suite and it was honestly the best night's sleep I have had in a long time.
