The Breakfast was excellent. The room we had overnight was fresh and a nice size. The 'rain' shower was fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

Providing a garden, The Bungalow - Ardullie Lodge provides accommodations in Dingwall. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Farm fresh eggs local milk and hot homemade bread upon arrival. Friendly, warm welcome by Liz (much needed after a very stressful day). Liz accommodated my quirky questions and seems to me a very hardworking and inspirational woman. The lodge was great!..Everything provided for a comfortable stay in a lovely setting. Wood stove with enuf wood included for a cozy nite in. Dog friendly with a small fenced in area attached to the lodge by a glass door. We ate breakfast outside with doggie able to roam the enclosed area🐶🙂. Liz went above and beyond with doggie treats too! 🦴

The Whitehouse offers accommodations in Dingwall, 12 miles from Inverness Castle and 9.1 miles from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club.

The room was quite large, clean and comfortable. Upon arrival the mattress appeared to be on the thin side, but it turned out to be quite comfortable and we slept wonderfully!

Kylelachin offers accommodations in Dingwall, 14 miles from Inverness Castle and 5.4 miles from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club.

Our host (Sandra) was over the top, incredible! She took care of every detail, question, or request. Very helpful, respectful, and polite. The room has everything you will need. It's charming. The bed was very comfortable, we had a very good night after a long road trip for the highlands. The breakfast was excellent with great variety to choose. Our Scottish breakfast was superb. The trip to the Inverness airport is about 20 min.

The Waverley Inn offers accommodations in Dingwall, 14 miles from Inverness Castle and 5.5 miles from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was very spacious, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bathroom was also generously sized, featuring a tub, and we were provided with plenty of towels. The beds were made upon arrival, and the room was warm and cozy—perfect for winter. The amenities were great, including a kettle, cups, glasses, and tea and coffee. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was included; while it was basic, it was a good start to the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Honestly, we’re not sure why this place is rated only 2 stars—it exceeded our expectations! We’ll definitely be back.

Very, very quiet town. Had an apocalyptic feel at all time. Really nothing to do at any time of the day. Local food selection (restaurant wise) is poor, Tesco is very well equipped. The town as a whole is a nice place to stay if you plan to only sleep there, a good connection to the highlands.

Dingwall is a quiet market town, with reasonable good facilities. The rail connections are great, you can get seamlessly to Inverness airport, along the north east coast or out into the more remote highlands. There are some interesting businesses on the high street which still cater mostly for the local population Cafe’s, Butcher, grocers, hardware etc a couple of supermarkets and filing stations. As well as being a good place to get provision the drive from Dingwall to the highlands takes you through extremely scenic the spa town of Strathpeffer.

I've enjoyed visiting Dingwall on many occasions over quite a few years now. There are a few nice restaurants to enjoy eating out, we thoroughly enjoy eating at the Indian restaurants. Also there are a few supermarkets near at hand. Road, rail, and bus connections make it so easy to get out and about, so even though Dingwall is quite a small place it has however everything you need at hand and a nice base to stay for visiting this beautiful part of the Highlands.

I stayed in Dingwall to visit the Davidson museum at Tulloch castle. The residents were very friendly and welcomed me at the church lunch on Sat and service on Sun. Battys proved a good place for a full Scottish breakfast. The museum in Dingwall high street was very interesting and the volunteer most helpful with my research into the Davidson clan.

I was there because I could not find a hotel in Inverness, and I was unwell and needed a place to stay another night. I reached the place early but the front desk was only open at 4pm. I had to carry my bag everywhere as there was no place to keep the luggage. However, I did enjoy the local museum that has a voice recording of soldiers from WW2

Dingwall was probably as thriving market town but now it just seems like many others regrettably - lots of closed down shops and nothing much going on in town. There wasn't a night scene that I would have otherwise been attracted to, with only 2 bars I could note and one of those closed at 10pm. There are several restaurants I noted, but other than that, the usual 'diet' of kebab shops, pizzerias and other takeaways. I much prefer to stay in Inverness as it offers so much more, so I would look to return there on my next Highland adventure.

Good location, plenty of space, well stocked kitchen. Great communication from host. Able to relax in the evenings in the living room rather than a one room hotel stay. Clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.
