the staff are very kind - made us feel at home,
it's a nice place, there is a nice lounge - good atmosphere. Even has a piano which I thought was great ( chickened out of playing it - would have if there was no one around)

Key and instructions are in their own bag at the door which was a great touch. The downstairs of the main house/lodge was immaculate and full of memorabilia and fabulous display items. Our room was lovely and the bed huge and so comfy! Breakfast was already in our room and the selection was perfect.

Everything! The real stars of the property are Chris and Julie who made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Clean, comfy, perfect location, 10/10 breakfasts. And then of course, there is Maisie, who is worth a return visit alone! Couldn’t have wished for better. Thanks again Chris and Julie x

Jacobite cruise and trip to the castle were good value and of interest even to a Scot’s couple,
Scenery to and from also stunning in December, could do with some competitively priced EV chargers around Loch Ness, however we are a bit spoiled as we home charge 90% of the time or Supercharger network

Not much there, and what was there was closed on the Monday afternoon we arrived. After a 6 hour drive to get there we then had to get back in the car and drive 14 miles back into the city centre to get a meal and a drink.

Here for one night to see the castle and take a boat tour of Loch Ness. Mike with Loch Ness cruises gave. A stellar one hour trip. One day is perfect. Everything in the town seems old and tired. A few souvenir shops. Fiddler’s restaurant had a lovely evening meal.

It's a busy little town in the height of season, understandably with the views. Parking can be a problem but it's a donation so as cheap as you want. Loads of shops and plenty of establishments to eat and drink at.

The area is that of a a journey stay. There are some places to chill, hundreds of B&B and lots of new homes in the making. It is a perfect stay if you are traveling to the highlands, the north or the Isle of Skye and want some rest but not in Inverness.

Size of room, cleanliness, well furnished with tasteful decor. Bed very comfortable and wonderful view of Loch Ness to wake up to. Plenty of sitting areas for relaxing with a book and a drink. Breakfast was excellent although no donner option on the lodge itself. Dinner can be booked in the restaurant of the hotel next door less than 5 mins walk away.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant was closed the evening we were there and they organised a table for us with the village restaurant located 100m away (which was excellent). We were upgraded too - which is always a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. A really good breakfast.
The breakfast room was great for preparing and eating your own breakfast. The guesthouse was quite close to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and to some restaurants. Perfect for a night to spot Nessie.
