The hotel itself is beautiful, incredibly clean and well staffed. We checked in around 9:30 in the evening and the young lady who checked us in was personable and kind. She showed a great interest in us and it made us feel very welcome.
The room was spacious and well laid out as was the bathroom; a good size and exactly what one would need.
We woke up and went to breakfast. The man who welcomed us and checked our room number was very friendly and brightened my morning. The wait staff were professional, kind and helpful. The food was lovely and the service perfect.

A charming small town that is quite vibrant.
A charming small town that is quite vibrant. It has a lot to offer in terms of coffee shops and drink/dining places. On both days we were at Easingwold there were markets that were well attended and quite attractive. The town is easy to get to/from. York is not far away to the south and to the north the A19 takes you to other lovely towns, e.g Thirsk.

We love visiting Easingwold, the town is just lovely as are the people. It is very central to a lot of surrounding places like York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Helmsley. We love the free parking in the town and the pubs in particular The George Hotel is comfortable and the food is amazing. We bought some gorgeous chocolate from the autism shop and the lady who served us was so lovely. We had fish and chips from Jake's Plaice which was very tasty.

Easingwold is a small
Market town that is alive and lovingly cared for- flowers and tubs, nice variety of shops, coffee shops, pubs, once weekly market and very friendly people
It is also close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside that is filled with history and York is a short distance away. It has an excellent bus service

Nice little town which had a market on the Friday and artisan market on the Saturday (first Saturday of the month). Nice walks nearby eg from Kilburn and handy for visiting Thirsk, Helmsley, White Horse etc. Various pubs and cafes within an easy walk from Little Ings as well as many not far away.

Easy parking behind the property. Everything imaginable available, very nice breakfast. Good room, comfie bed. Good location - walking distance to Easingwold (including to meet people for dinner at The George.) 5 minutes drive to The Lund studio where I was doing a course.
Really fabulous stay. Lovely rooms, individually decorated, friendly staff, and great meals (dinner & breakfast). I understand it's under a recent management change, and boy does it show. Really friendly and a superb place to stay in the heart of Easingwold.
Location is amazing. Fantastic views from the bay window over the market place and beyond. Coop just across the road for supplies. Free parking readily available. Great eating pubs and restaurants all nearby . Easingwold itself was lovely.
